Ian founded Stewart Lawyers in early 2005. He is the principal solicitor of Stewart Lawyers and specialises in legal costing. Ian has practised exclusively in this area since 2002 and focuses primarily on the New South Wales Supreme Court Costs Assessment Scheme and the Federal and High Courts of Australia.
He was admitted as a solicitor in December 1995 and has practised in general commercial litigation in all New South Wales jurisdictions, the Federal Court of Australia and the High Court of Australia.
Ian, through his commercial litigation and legal costing experience, has developed an understanding of the economic drivers in all legal practices and the management of client expectations in costs related issues.
